In a message released by Hawzah News Agency, the Supreme Council of the Seminaries extended its condolences following the separate terrorist attacks by the Zionist regime and its supporter, the criminal US, which led to the martyrdom of Dr. Ali Larijani, the revered secretary of the Supreme National Security Council; Hojatoleslam Seyyed Esmaeil Khatib, the respected Minister of Intelligence; and General Gholamreza Soleimani, the proud commander of the Basij Organization.
The text of the message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
"Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God. Of them, some have fulfilled their vow, and some are still waiting, and they have not changed in the least." (Holy Quran)
Martyrdom is the highest divine gift bestowed upon righteous servants and sincere mujahideen who sacrifice their lives in defense of Islam and the dignity of Muslims.
We offer our congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of scholar, Dr. Ali Larijani, the respected secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, along with his loyal and faithful son and a number of their brave colleagues; as well as the martyrdom of Hojatoleslam Haj Seyyed Esmaeil Khatib, the respected Minister of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran; and the honorable general, Martyr Major General Gholamreza Soleimani, the commander of the Basij Organization of the Oppressed. These tragic events occurred in separate, heinous, and terrorist actions perpetrated by the Zionist regime and its arrogant supporter, the criminal United States.
The martyr scholar Dr. Ali Larijani hailed from a family of knowledge and jurisprudence. He spent his life serving the sacred system of the Islamic Republic in various cultural, political, media, and national security arenas, defending the essence of Islam and Iran. Ultimately, on the path of resistance and steadfastness against the sworn enemies of the Islamic Ummah, he achieved the great blessing of martyrdom, joining his fellow martyrs, the late great Imam Khomeini, and the Leader of Martyrs, Ayatollah Khamenei.
The Supreme Council of the Seminaries offers its condolences on this great loss to the Imam of the Age (PBUH), the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the esteemed families of the martyrs, the great nation of Iran, seminaries across the country, officials of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic, and all mujahideen and fighters on the front of truth against falsehood.
The pure blood of these dear martyrs and their unceasing efforts will undoubtedly bear fruit. It will crush the forces of oppression and arrogance and pave the way for the victory of the front of truth, resistance, and the oppressed people of the world, God willing.
We beseech the Almighty God to bestow upon these exalted martyrs the highest ranks and companionship with the saints. We ask for beautiful patience and great reward for all the survivors, especially Ayatollah Amoli Larijani, and for the nation of Iran and the resistance front, we pray for decisive victory over the enemies of Islam and Muslims.
